How it works
POS Internet’s Multi-Network SIM Card is inserted into a POS Terminal. This gives the terminal the ability to connect to a cellular network, similar to a cell phone. When a customer makes a payment (e.g., swiping a credit card), the terminal collects the transaction data.
POS Internet’s Multi-Network SIM Card seamlessly switches allowing the terminal to automatically find the strongest signal from any cellular network, ensuring constant uptime. The encrypted data is then securely transmitted to the Payment Gateway to be processed.
The Payment Gateway receives the secure data and contacts the customer’s bank through card networks for approval. The bank checks for funds, then sends an “approved” or “declined” message. The gateway relays this final response to the POS terminal, completing the transaction.
